The third gen K-member from QA1 offers significant advantages over the factory K-members found in the 1982-1992 Camaros and Firebirds. One significant advantage is interchangeable engine mounts. Being able to swap engine mounts with the purchase of one single K-member and not having to source various adapter mounts makes the QA1 K-member and engine mounts stand out from the rest. ENGINE MOUNTS FOR ALL BUILD PLANS These mounts are to be used with Small Block and Big Block Chevy engines. But in addition, QA1 offers engine mounts for all the popular mills including the more modern LS and LT engines. So, if an engine swap could be in your future, there’s no need to purchase another K-member or use adapter mounts, making for a clean install that accommodates future upgrades.
