K&N Top & Base Plate 85-6852

The oversized K&N 16 inch air filter top and base plates can be paired with a variety of 16 inch K&N air filters for boosting the performance in carbureted race cars. The plates are made from lightweight aluminum with a spun aluminum finish featuring K&N logos embossed on the outer edge of the top plate. The base plate fits carburetors with a 7-5/16 inch air horn flange and drops the filter 1-1/2 inches below the carb flange. The drop base design helps to maximize air filter height while still clearing the hood in many custom racing applications. These K&N 16 inch top and base plates will work with various heights of 16 inch diameter K&N high-flow air filters such as the 3 inch tall air filter E-3022R, 3-1/4 inch tall air filter E-3023R, 3-1/2 inch tall air filter E-3024R, 3-3/4 inch tall air filter E-3025R, 4 inch tall air filter E-3026R and several other variations meant for off-road racing use.
