This 2.5″ diameter True Dual BORLA® Cat-Back™ system was designed specifically for the Q50. It features an internal H-Pipe inside the front muffler and Borla’s patented Polyphonic Harmonizer technology for increased performance and improved sound. BORLA®’S Polyphonic Harmonizer Technology utilizes patented units that contain pipes of different diameters and lengths to create multiple exhaust notes that harmonize to deliver a clean, rich, full-bodied sound. The ATAK® sound level delivers an aggressive, head-turning sound with no drone inside the cabin. The rear section of this exhaust system incorporates Borla’s patented SwitchFire™ design. Completely eliminating the turbulent center intersection of a standard X-Pipe, BORLA®’S patented SwitchFire™ design truly blends the combustion pulses from both sides of the engine for improved performance and a custom sound. The exhaust exits thru single 4.5″ round carbon fiber with black anodized center tip on each tail pipe. Systems with bright chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips and black chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips are also available.
