ReadyLIFT offers a lift solution for 2014-2018 Subaru Forester models, catering to adventure enthusiasts. The kit, inspired by technology from Crosstrek lifts and ReadyLIFT’s truck and Jeep kits, elevates the Forester by 2″ in the front and 1.5″ in the rear. This lift is achieved through front and rear offset design spacers, made from heavy-duty steel with a protective powder coat finish. This setup enables a taller stance, enhancing ground clearance and allowing for larger tires. Specifically, it accommodates a P225 tire, significantly increasing clearance at the rockers. The 69-9420 SST Lift Kit is a completely bolt-on solution, requiring no vehicle modifications, and is easier and quicker to install compared to other kits. It retains factory camber/caster through unique offset spacer design, ensuring ideal alignment and preserving the factory ride quality. It supports up to 225/75-15 tires on a 15×7 wheel with +15 mm offset without trimming and up to 235/75-15 tires with the same wheel and offset specifications with minor plastic trimming. This American-made kit is designed for the Outback as well, offering a cost-effective premium lift without unnecessary components. The kit promises easy, bolt-on installation, increased ground clearance, and compatibility with larger tire sizes for enhanced trail performance. However, some lifted Subaru models might experience a ‘rumble’ or ‘wobble’ at low speeds (17-22 MPH) due to soft or aging rubber in the factory transmission mount, accentuated by new CV angles. This issue can be resolved with an affordable aftermarket ‘anti-wobble’ transmission mount or mount insert.
