Skyjacker re-engineered the Super Dutys suspension via an impressive 4-Link Conversion. Replace your OEM radius arms with integrated radius arm drop brackets plus upper and lower adjustable control arms. Formed from 2-inch OD x 0.250 wall DOM tubing, both pairs of control arms are adjustable Flex Links. The adjustability allows proper caster settings to improve handling. Flex Links have a forked clevis end at the lower axle mount. The upper bracket mount has 1-1/4 in. forged rod end with steel encased rubber bushing. Drop brackets lower the rear mounts at the frame to maintain the correct caster specifications for proper alignment. Skyjacker’s legendary Softride(R) technology engineered processes achieve maximum wheel travel, ride quality and extends the long-lasting life of the coil spring. The process starts with 5160H chromium alloy material, an advanced method of shot pining and a presetting process. An ultra heavy-duty track bar relocation bracket captures the front crossmember on both sides to prevent movement in this critical high-stress area and to keep the axle centered. A drop pitman arm corrects steering angle. Front sway bar links realign sway bar. Drop spacers reposition front bump stops. Front brake line brackets and braided stainless steel brake lines correct and reposition the brake lines. A heavy-duty steering stabilizer relocation bracket and Hydro steering stabilizer included. Softride(R) Technology leaf springs have tapered leafs to distribute loads more evenly and to create more flex at the leaf ends. Teflon(R) wear pads between leafs and bolt style spring clips prevent binding and eliminate friction. Shocks are a key link in-between the chassis and your suspension.
