It buys real clearance under the axles and enough room in the wheel wells for a taller tire, which is usually what the owner actually wanted. This kit gets there without cutting or drilling the truck, so it comes back off if the Colorado is ever sold stock. Ground clearance improves for rough ground and obstacles. ZR2 and Trailboss models are excluded and cannot use this kit.
