Returns & Warranty

Last updated 5 August 2026

Check your delivery before you sign. If a box is damaged or something is missing, note it on the delivery receipt and call us within 48 hours. Freight carriers and our suppliers both refuse claims that weren’t reported at delivery — this is the one deadline we can’t extend for you.

The short version

Starting a return

Call (386) 262-8386 with your order number and the part number. We’ll tell you where to send it and give you a return authorization — send nothing back before you have one. Parts arriving without authorization can sit unidentified at a distributor’s dock, and we may not be able to credit them.

Once the part is back and inspected, the refund goes to your original payment method. Inspection is not a formality: a part that comes back scratched, repackaged badly or missing hardware may be credited only in part, because that is how it reaches us from the distributor.

What can’t be returned

These are non-returnable at our suppliers, which means we can’t take them back either:

If you’re unsure whether a part falls into one of these, call before you order rather than after. We’d rather spend five minutes on fitment than have you stuck with something.

Damaged, short or wrong on arrival

Inspect everything before you sign, especially anything that arrives by freight truck. Count the boxes against the packing list and look for crushed corners or torn shrink wrap.

Warranty

Parts carry the manufacturer’s warranty, and the terms are the manufacturer’s to set — they vary by brand and by product. Where the manufacturer publishes warranty terms for a part, they are shown on that part’s page.

Rough Country is the largest brand we carry, and its warranty runs by component rather than as one blanket term:

Hard suspension components — knuckles, lift blocks, control armsLifetime replacement
Leaf and coil springs5 year
Shocks and steering stabilizers3 year
Bushings, ball joints and wear items1 year
Bed covers5 year
LED lights3 year limited
Jeep Wrangler JK armorLimited lifetime
Winches3 year
Nerf stepsLimited lifetime
Fender flares3 year
Driveshafts3 year limited
Exhaust3 year
Bed matsLimited lifetime
Soft tops3 year limited
Wheel well linersLimited lifetime
Paint and finishes1 year limited

Rough Country’s terms, as published by Rough Country. Other brands set their own.

A warranty claim is not a return, and it isn’t limited to 30 days — it runs for whatever period the manufacturer states. Call us with the order and part number and we’ll file it. Manufacturers often want the defective part back and will usually cover that return shipping on an approved claim.

Warranties generally cover defects in materials and workmanship. They generally do not cover normal wear, accident damage, racing or competition use, corrosion from the environment, or a part installed contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions.
