Intake Pre-Filter, fitment-checked
A silicone-treated polyester wrap that fits over the filter on Rough Country cold air intakes 10550A and 10554 in the 2007-2017 Jeep Wrangler. It sheds water, holds dust off the element underneath, and slips on in about 10 min. The intake and its air filter are sold separately.
This is the outer wrap only. The cold air intake and its air filter are sold separately, and this one is cut for the Rough Country 10550A and 10554 intakes on the 2007-2017 Jeep Wrangler. The material is silicone-treated polyester that repels water, with double-stitched elastic openings at both ends so it grips the filter instead of shifting under airflow. Its job is to stop dust and grit at the outside surface, which stretches the interval between filter cleanings. Fitting it takes about 10 min, and shipping weight is 1.0 lb.
