Jack mounts: a loose jack is a projectile
A high-lift jack is long, heavy, and made of steel. Loose in a bed or a cab it is the most dangerous object in the vehicle in any sudden stop, and it is also the item most likely to walk off a parked truck.
A jack mount fixes it to a bed rack, a tire carrier or a roll cage where it is secure, reachable and not rattling. The same brackets carry shovels and axes for the same reasons. What matters is that the mount bolts to structure and holds the jack firmly enough that a washboard road does not work it loose over an afternoon.

Reachable, and lockable
A jack you cannot reach without unloading the bed is a jack you will not use. Mount it where it can come off in one movement, because the moment you need it is rarely a comfortable one.
Locking mounts are worth the difference. Recovery gear is stolen from parked trucks constantly, and a high-lift is both valuable and easy to carry away. We stock 1 jack and mounting part from 1 brand.
