Toyota Tacoma A-Pillar Light Kit with D-SS Flood (2016-2020)

Toyota Tacoma A-Pillar Light Kit with D-SS Flood (2016-2020), fitment-checked

An A-pillar mounting kit for the 2016-2020 Tacoma with D-SS flood lights supplied in the box, so there is nothing left to specify. A-pillar mounting puts the light above the hood line, which is where a flood pattern earns its keep: it lights the verge and the trail edge rather than reflecting off your own bodywork. An install guide is published. Warranty class is Limited Lifetime and shipping weight is 7.9 lb.

Most auxiliary lighting arrives as a light and a mount that were designed apart from one another. This is one part number for both: brackets cut for the 2016-2020 Tacoma's A-pillar and the D-SS lights that go in them. Height is the reason to mount there. A flood pattern low on a bumper spends much of its output on the ground immediately ahead and on glare off the hood; the same light at the top of the windshield throws its spread out to the sides, which is what you want when the trail is turning. Install guide published, Limited Lifetime warranty, 7.9 lb boxed.
