In some cases minor trimming may be needed to clear 35-inch tires. On vehicles equipped with a two piece driveshaft there is the potential for take off vibration this can be corrected with SKU: 1776BOX1 carrier bearing shim kit. This 4.5-inch lift kit for the 2007–2015 Toyota Tundra 4WD covers SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, Base, and 1794 Edition submodels. The high-clearance crossmember carries the load without changes to the factory differential mounts, drivetrain, or exhaust, and the loaded struts install without a spring compressor. Minor cutting and drilling is part of the job, and some trucks need light trimming for 35-inch tires. Factory 18-inch or larger wheels work, with tire width capped at 11.5 inches.
