Rough Country 54720 is a 4-inch lift kit for compatible 2004–2008 Ford F-150 4WD and AWD models, built around lifted knuckles that hold track width and steering geometry close to factory. The kit ships with an N3 shock package, front and rear crossmembers, and a differential skid plate. It does not fit trucks with the Heavy Duty Payload Package (seven-lug) or 2004 Heritage models.
This 4-inch lift kit for the 2004–2008 Ford F-150 4WD covers FX4, Harley-Davidson Edition, King Ranch, Lariat, Limited, STX, XL, XLT, and 60th Anniversary Edition applications listed in the fitment section. Up front you get lifted knuckles, strut spacers, front and rear crossmembers, a differential skid plate, rack-and-pinion and differential drop brackets, and stainless steel braided brake lines. The rear uses 2" lift blocks with brake line relocation brackets and U-bolts. Minor cutting and drilling is part of the job; Rough Country lists 8-10 hours for installation, and a downloadable installation guide is available before you start.
