The amber variant of the DRL ditch light kit, for the 2018-2025 Jeep Wrangler 4WD and 2020-2025 Gladiator 4WD. Amber carries better through dust and fog than white does, which is the practical reason to choose it over the standard version rather than a styling one. Bolt-on to factory locations, no drilling. Does not fit the Moab Edition.
Amber is not just a color choice. Shorter wavelengths scatter more off airborne dust and water, which is why white light turns into a wall in fog and amber does not. This kit runs the daytime function in amber for that reason, then gives full ditch-light output when the trail needs it. Mounting is unchanged: factory locations, no drilling, nothing permanent. Off-road use only, no Moab Edition, and the windshield stops folding down.
