Rough Country 501073 is a loaded strut pair for 2009–2013 Ford F-150 4WD and AWD models, from XL and STX up through King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited. Each strut arrives with the coil already assembled, so no strut disassembly is needed on the bench. These are OE-replacement struts and are not intended for use with a leveling or lift spacer, and they do not fit Raptor models.
This loaded strut pair for the 2009–2013 Ford F-150 4WD and AWD bolts into the factory locations with the coil already fitted, which keeps the job to roughly 1-2 hours for a driveway install. The nitrogen-charged design uses velocity-sensitive valving matched to the application and a 1 3/8in bore, with a chromed piston rod and leak-proof piston seal. Raptor models are excluded. If the truck is already leveled or lifted, Rough Country directs you to the strut built for that lift height instead. A downloadable installation guide is available.
