Rough Country 501097 is a pair of loaded, stock-height replacement front struts for 2012–2024 Ram 1500 4WD and 2019–2024 Ram 1500 Classic 4WD models. Each unit arrives with the coil already assembled, so the swap is a bolt-in job. These struts do not work on air-ride trucks, and they are not intended to be stacked with a leveling or lift spacer.
This loaded strut pair fits 2012–2024 Ram 1500 4WD and 2019–2024 Ram 1500 Classic 4WD trucks across the submodels listed in the fitment section, from Tradesman and Express up through Laramie Longhorn, Rebel, and Warlock. Nitrogen charging and velocity-sensitive valving are tuned per application to hold a factory-like ride, and the 1 3/8in bore runs low-friction oil behind a chromed piston rod. Rough Country lists install time at 1-2 hours, and a downloadable installation guide is available. If your truck is leveled or lifted, choose a strut built for that height instead of pairing these with a spacer.
