This loaded strut pair for the 4WD Jeep Compass (2007-2016) and 4WD Jeep Patriot (2010-2017) is built to hold factory ride height rather than raise it, using application-specific velocity-sensitive valving and a nitrogen charge to limit oil aeration. Bore measures 1 3/8in, the piston rod is hardened and chrome plated, and the body wears a silver powder coat finish. Rough Country estimates 2-3 hours for the job, and a downloadable installation guide is available. Confirm your drivetrain and model year against the exclusion list first: 2WD, 2007-2009 Patriot, and 2006-2011 Compass applications are not covered.
