The 2-inch extruded tube houses a 46mm digressive piston with self-adjusting deflective-disc valving, so rebound and compression respond independently as the surface changes. The 18mm rod is centerless-ground, case-hardened, chromed, and polished, and the body is zinc plated against road salt and grit. Vulcanized natural rubber bushings handle the mounts.
