These M1 monotube front shocks fit 2001-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and Silverado 1500 HD in Base, LS, and LT trim, plus the 2001-2006 GMC Sierra 1500 HD in SLE and SLT, in 4WD or RWD. The 2-inch seamless extruded body holds a 46mm digressive piston with self-adjusting deflective-disc damping, so rebound and compression respond independently as the surface changes. The 18mm centerless-ground rod is case-hardened and chromed, and the body is zinc plated against road salt and grit. Rubber bushings are vulcanized natural rubber. Rough Country lists install time at 1-2 hours for the pair.
