The body is a 2-inch seamless extruded tube running a 46mm digressive piston, with self-adjusting deflective-disc damping that separates rebound from compression as the surface changes. The 18mm rod is centerless-ground, case-hardened, chromed, and polished, and the housing is zinc plated against road salt and grit. Vulcanized natural rubber bushings finish the mounts.
