These N3 front shocks for the 1970-1979 Ford F-100 RWD and 1977-1979 Ford F-150 4WD are a lifted-truck-only fitment: confirm your rig has 7-8 inches of suspension lift before ordering. The N3 design uses 10-stage variable valving, a 35mm piston in a 54mm body, and a chromed 18mm piston rod, with nitrogen charging to limit fade and military-spec fluid rated to -40 degrees Celsius. Rubber bushings damp vibration and the body carries a metallic silver finish. Plan on 1-2 hours to swap the pair. Shipping weight: 9.5 lb.
