This N3 front shock pair for the 2001-2006 Silverado 1500, Silverado 1500 HD, and Sierra 1500 HD is a lifted-truck replacement, not a stock-height part: the fitment applies only to trucks with 2-3.5 inches of suspension lift. Each shock uses 10-stage variable valving with a nitrogen charge, a 35mm piston in a 54mm body, and a chromed 18mm piston rod rated to 36kN tensile strength. Fluid is rated to -40 degrees Celsius, and rubber bushings handle the mounting ends. The box ships with one N3 shock pair; plan roughly 1-2 hours for the swap.
