A pair of N3 front shocks for the 1977-1979 Ford F-250 4WD (Rough Country 23298_A). These are replacement dampers for a truck already running 4 to 7 inches of suspension lift — they are not intended for stock-height applications. Sold as a pair; carries a 3 Year Limited Warranty.
These N3 front shocks fit the 1977-1979 Ford F-250 4WD across Base, Custom, Northland, Ranger, Ranger Lariat, Ranger XLT, and XLT submodels, but only when the truck already carries 4-7 inches of suspension lift. Damping comes from 10-stage variable valving working with a 35mm piston inside a 54mm body, and the 18mm piston rod is chromed for corrosion resistance. Nitrogen charging helps hold damping consistency as heat builds. Rubber bushings are included on the shock. Rough Country lists a 1-2 hours install time for the pair.
