Rough Country 23153_D is a pair of N3 rear shocks for 2001-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Silverado 1500 HD, and GMC Sierra 1500 HD trucks in 4WD or RWD. These fit only trucks already running 2.5-6 in of suspension lift, so measure your setup before ordering. Nitrogen-charged with 10-stage variable valving.
These N3 rear shocks fit 2001-2006 Silverado 1500, Silverado 1500 HD, and Sierra 1500 HD trucks — Base, LS, LT, SLE, and SLT submodels in either 4WD or RWD — and only when the truck already carries 2.5-6 in of suspension lift. The valving runs 10 stages over a 35mm piston inside a 54mm body, on a chromed 18mm rod rated to 36kN tensile strength, with military-spec fluid good to -40 degrees Celsius. Rubber bushings are part of the shock. Rough Country lists install time at 1-2 hours for the pair.
