Rough Country 23158_A is a pair of N3 rear shocks for 1999-2007 Chevrolet and GMC half-ton trucks, including Silverado 1500, Sierra 1500, and the HD and Classic variants listed in the fitment section. These are for trucks already running 2.5 to 6 in of suspension lift only — stock-height trucks are not covered. Shipped as a two-shock set.
These N3 rear shocks cover 1999-2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 trucks in RWD, 4WD, and AWD, plus the C1500, K1500, 1500 HD, and Classic applications shown in the fitment rows. Damping comes from 10-stage variable valving in a 54mm body with a 35mm piston and a chromed 18mm rod, nitrogen charged to limit fade on longer runs. Confirm your truck carries 2.5 to 6 in of lift before ordering, since that lift range is the only qualifier for this application. Rough Country lists installation at 1-2 hours.
