About this kit
N3 Rear Shocks, fitment-checked
Rough Country 23210_N is a pair of N3 rear shocks for 1980–1996 Ford F-150 RWD trucks. They are valved for rigs already running 6-8" of suspension lift, so confirm your current lift height before ordering. Covered by a 3 Year Limited Warranty.
These N3 rear shocks for the 1980–1996 Ford F-150 RWD ship as a pair and are intended only for trucks carrying 6-8" of suspension lift — stock-height and shorter-lift setups need a different valving range. The N3 design uses 10-stage variable valving, a 35mm piston in a 54mm body, and a chromed 18mm rod, with nitrogen charge and military-spec fluid rated to -40 degrees Celsius. Rubber bushings are included on the shock. Rough Country lists roughly 1-2 hours for the job. Check the fitment list for your submodel first.
