This N3 rear shock pair fits the 2002-2008 Dodge Ram 1500 in 4WD and RWD across ST, SXT, SLT, Sport, Laramie, TRX4, and SRT-10 trims, and it is intended only for trucks already sitting on 3 inches of suspension lift. Each shock runs a 54mm body, a 35mm piston, and a chromed 18mm hardened rod, with high-pressure nitrogen charging and 10-stage variable valving to control fade on rough ground. Military-spec fluid is rated to -40 degrees Celsius, and rubber bushings damp vibration at the mounts. Rough Country lists the job at 1-2 hours.
