Rear shocks on a lifted leaf-sprung truck do more than damp; if they are too short they become the thing that stops the axle dropping, and the tire lifts off the ground on a climb instead of staying planted. This pair is dimensioned for 3.5-4 of lift so the axle uses its full travel. The N3 internals carry over: 10-Stage Variable Valving, a 35mm piston, and a nitrogen charge that keeps damping consistent as the shock heats up.
