These N3 rear shocks for the 2014–2022 Toyota Highlander AWD cover gas and Hybrid trims from L and LE through Limited Platinum, and they are intended only for vehicles carrying 1.5-2.5 in of suspension lift. Each shock uses a 35mm piston inside a 54mm body, a chromed 18mm piston rod, and a spring-loaded rod seal, with military-spec fluid rated to -40 degrees Celsius. Rubber bushings handle vibration at the mounts. Rough Country lists the rear pair as roughly a 1-2 hours job, which puts it inside a driveway afternoon with basic hand tools.
