Construction is heavy-duty steel finished in black carbon powder coat to resist rust. One limit is worth reading before purchase: it is not rated for class III towing. On 97-01 trucks with factory flares, Rough Country suggests part 10571 to cover the steel left exposed once the original bumper comes off.
