Rough Country rates the shaft at 36kN tensile strength and builds the body from brushed T6061 aluminum for corrosion resistance, with a nitrogen charge and internal floating piston behind the 46mm high-flow piston. Heat sheds quickly through the monotube housing, and the inverted mounting orientation puts the shaft where debris is less likely to reach it.
