These V2 monotube rear shocks fit 2000-2010 Suburban 2500 and Yukon XL 2500 models, 4WD and RWD, across Base, LS, LT, LTZ, SLE, and SLT trims. The monotube body runs a 46mm high-flow piston and an internal floating piston that keeps nitrogen gas separated from the oil, so damping stays consistent as heat builds. The housing is T6061 brushed aluminum, and the inverted mounting layout puts the shaft up out of the debris path. Rough Country lists installation at 1-2 hours.
