Rough Country 689011 is a pair of Vertex 2.5 adjustable front shocks for 2011–2019 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD trucks, 4WD and RWD. The set ships as 2 monotube, nitrogen-charged units with 8-step adjustment, remote reservoirs on steel braided lines, and 18mm chrome-hardened piston rods. They do not work alongside control arm drop kits.
These Vertex 2.5 adjustable front shocks for the 2011–2019 Silverado 2500 HD, Silverado 3500 HD, Sierra 2500 HD, and Sierra 3500 HD cover WT through Denali and High Country trims in both 4WD and RWD, plus the 2015 Silverado 3500 RWD WT listed in the fitment section. Each shock uses a honed steel body, 3-stage sealing, and a zinc-plated finish with double clear coat rated past 400 hours of salt spray.
