Two requirements come with this one and neither is in the box: oversized camber and caster shims, and a front Nitro shock — Skyjacker names N8023. Budget both. The add-a-leafs themselves give 1.5-2 in. and come with tie bolts.
Add-a-leafs work inside the existing front pack rather than replacing it, which makes them an economical way to 1.5-2 in. — until you read the requirements. Skyjacker lists oversized camber and caster shims as required, and specifies a front Nitro shock, N8023. Both are separate orders and together they change the economics. The leafs come as a pair with tie bolts, since the pack has to be re-clamped. Coverage is the 1983-1996 F-250, the 1997 F-250 HD and the 1983-1997 F-350, all in 4WD.
