Nine inches of lift on a Cherokee or TJ is an extreme build and the shock has to have the travel to match: 10.37 in. of stroke here, between 26.86 in. extended and 16.49 in. collapsed. Skyjacker records two bands, 5-8 in. and 6-9 in. Construction is aluminum monotube with a remote reservoir, which at these heights matters. The shock is cycling through most of its stroke and the oil needs somewhere to shed heat. Coverage is the Cherokee from 1984-2001 and the TJ and Wrangler from 1997-2006.
