The shock upgrade for Skyjacker's 6 in. F-150 lift, supplied against kit F1560BK. Monotube construction separates gas from oil behind a floating piston, which holds damping together better than a twin-tube when the truck is worked.

Skyjacker offers the rear damping on this F-150 lift as an optional box rather than building it into the kit, which lets a buyer choose. These are M95 monotubes: a single tube with the gas and oil divided by a floating piston, so the oil cannot aerate under repeated compression.
