Short body, tall lift — 23.5 in. extended and 13.92 in. collapsed, matched to 5-6 in. on the 1997-2003 F-150 and the 2004 F-150 Heritage in 4WD. The combination is less contradictory than it looks on an independent front end.

A big lift does not always mean a long shock. On the tenth-generation F-150's independent front suspension the damper sits inboard and works through a shorter arc than a solid axle would, which is why this one runs 23.5 in. extended and 13.92 in. collapsed while still being specified for 5-6 in. of lift. Coverage is the 1997-2003 F-150 in Base, Lariat and King Ranch trim and the 2004 F-150 Heritage in XL and XLT, both in 4WD. Hydro series with the red boot.
