The ICON Stage 9 system for the Toyota Tacoma, 2005-2023. It has billet upper control arms, an RXT multi-rate rear leaf spring, and CDC valves on every shock. Each valve gives 10 compression damping settings, soft to hard. TRD Pro and 5-lug 2WD trucks differ.

Stage 9 is about damping. Every shock has an externally adjustable CDC valve with 10 compression settings, from soft to hard. The rear follows the RXT layout: a multi-rate leaf spring with 3 spring rates, an extra leaf that raises the rate 10-20% when it is swapped in or added, and an RXT 2.5 Aluminum Series remote reservoir shock. The front uses extended travel coilovers with remote reservoirs, plus billet aluminum upper control arms with the Delta Joint. Here are the lift figures. A 2005-2015 Tacoma gets 0-3.5 in. up front. A 2016-2023 Tacoma gets 0-2.75 in. Rear lift on most trims is 1.875-2.625 in., set by the rear spring and the rear weight. A TRD Pro from 2017 to 2023 gets 0-1.25 in. up front and 1.375-2.125 in. in the rear. A 2005-2015 two-wheel-drive Tacoma with 5-lug wheels cannot take this system. Count the lugs on a wheel if you are unsure. Trimming is required for the recommended tire size. Springs, upper control arms and U-bolts are Limited Lifetime. Shocks are covered for 1 Year and Delta Joints for 5 Years. Wearable items are excluded.
