Tailgate Extender for Honda Pioneer 1000 and 1000-5

Tailgate Extender, fitment-checked

Rough Country 92057 folds out to take the Honda Pioneer bed from 36 in to 59 in, adding 9 in of hauling length past the tailgate and lifting bed volume from 8.44 to 11.95 cubic feet. It fits Pioneer 1000 and 1000-5 models, 2016–2025, including Deluxe and Limited Edition. It does not fit 1000-3 or 700-2 machines.

Folded, this extender sits 2 in tall against the tailgate and stays out of the way; folded out, it stretches the Honda Pioneer bed from 36 in to 59 in and raises capacity from 8.44 to 11.95 cubic feet (a 41.6 percent gain) with 9 in of that coming from the tailgate extension itself. There is room for a full-size 75 QT cooler alongside other gear, and on the 1000-5 the rear seats stay accessible with the extender in place. Two machines are out: 1000-3 and 700-2 models. Shipping weight is 34 lb.
