Sequoia shocks: a heavy wagon that carries people
The Sequoia is a large, heavy wagon that spends its life carrying people rather than payload, and the shock absorber is what stops that weight moving about after a bump. Comfort is more of the point here than on a pickup, which is why shocks that are too firm are a worse mistake in this vehicle than ones that are slightly soft.
Two things narrow the choice. Some versions carry an adaptive or load-leveling rear arrangement and cannot take a conventional passive damper, and the listings that exclude them say so. And the vehicle changed platform partway through these years, so the model year is doing real work in the fitment rather than sitting there for show. Front shocks and rear shocks are sold on their own as well as in sets, and every item here names the years and the position it fits. The list runs to 20 items.
