Traction Boards

4 parts in stock · universal fit — nothing here is tied to a year, make or model

Which truck is this for?

Fits all vehicles

Every part in Traction Boards is universal fit — none of it is tied to a year, make or model, so there is nothing to check before you buy.

Traction boards: the recovery that needs no second vehicle

Everything else in recovery assumes somebody else is there to pull. Traction boards are what get a truck out alone — a ramp wedged under a spinning tire that gives the tread something to bite and a surface to climb.

They work in sand, snow, mud and loose rock, and they are the first thing to reach for because they carry no stored energy and cannot injure anyone. Dig out ahead of the tire, seat the board hard against the tread, and drive out at low revs. Spinning the tire on the board is what melts the lugs off it.

Mounting, and why they get stolen

Boards are bulky and live on a roof rack, a bed rack or a tailgate, which means they are visible and unsecured. Locking mounts exist for a reason.

They stack and nest to save space, and a pair is the practical minimum since traction on one side alone rarely does it. These fit by design rather than by vehicle, so the truck filter narrows this section very little. We stock 4 traction board parts from 1 brand.
