This 2.5-inch kit is Denali-specific: it fits 2014-2018 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali and 2017-2018 Sierra Denali models with Magnetic Ride Control and factory cast aluminum control arms. Trucks with stamped steel control arms are not covered. The struts stay assembled during the install, and fabricated blocks go in rather than cast.
Ride height goes up 2.5 inches at the front on 2014-2018 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali and 2017-2018 Sierra Denali trucks in 4WD and RWD, leveling the nose with the rear without touching the factory struts — no spring compressor, no teardown. Fitment is narrow and worth confirming: the truck needs Magnetic Ride Control and factory cast aluminum control arms, and stamped steel arms are not supported. Everything bolts on, the supplied blocks are fabricated rather than cast, and Rough Country publishes a downloadable installation guide for the job.
