About this part
2-Inch Lowering Spindles, fitment-checked
A pair of lowering spindles that take 2 inches out of the front ride height on 1988–1999 Chevy and GMC C1500 RWD trucks and 1992–1999 C1500 Suburbans (Rough Country 1725BOX1). The install bolts on, the front end can be realigned to factory specs afterward, and the truck can be returned to stock height later.
These spindles replace the factory units on RWD C1500 pickups and Suburbans, dropping the front 2 inches without touching the rest of the suspension. Grade 9 hardware and hardened washers come with them, and once the swap is done the alignment can be brought back to factory specs. One caveat to settle before ordering: installs on 1988–1991 1500 Standard Cab trucks need rotors and bearings from a 1988–1998 Extended Cab. Most driveways will see this finished in 2–3 hours with the downloadable installation guide alongside. Shipping weight: 46 lb.
