This is the 3.6L intake packaged with a pre-filter wrap over the element, which is the configuration worth having if the Jeep sees dust, sand or water crossings. The wrap catches the coarse material before it reaches the filter media, so the filter itself goes longer between cleanings. Covers the Jeep Wrangler 4WD for 2018-2025 and the Gladiator 4WD for 2020-2025. California and CARB states are excluded.

A reusable filter is a good thing right up until you are the one cleaning it every other weekend. The pre-filter in this kit slips over the element and takes the worst of the dust and spray first, which keeps the media usable longer and makes the eventual clean a shorter job. Under it sits the same intake tube and reusable filter as the standard kit, mounting in the factory locations on the 3.6L. Emissions rules still apply: not for sale in California or other CARB states.
