Four Vertex 2.5 reservoir shocks — fronts valved for 5-7 inches, rears for 3.5-7.5 — come with this 5 inch torsion bar drop kit for 2011-2019 Silverado 2500 HD/3500 HD and Sierra 2500 HD/3500 HD. Minor cutting and drilling are required, dually models are excluded, and factory wheels will not work.
This is the reservoir-shock build of the 2011-2019 torsion bar drop kit. The front Vertex 2.5 units cover a 5-7 inch range and the rears cover 3.5-7.5 inches, matched here to 5 inches of lift. The rest of the kit is the familiar set: crossmember box, 5-7in front kit box, 5 inch torsion bar drop box, and both lifted knuckles. Factory rear overload springs must be removed on equipped trucks, gas models may need exhaust clearance work, and 17-inch factory wheel trucks need 17-inch or larger aftermarket wheels.
