Covers the 2005-2009 Ford Mustang in both GT and Shelby GT500 trim. This is the S-Type version of the axle-back, replacing the section behind the rear axle while the factory mid-pipe and converters stay on the car.
Two trims on one part number: the Mustang GT and the Shelby GT500, 2005 through 2009. Borla lists it in the S-Type series. As an axle-back it stops at the rear axle, so nothing forward of that is disturbed — the mid-pipe, converters and their sensors all stay put, which keeps the install short and the emissions hardware untouched. At 24 lb boxed it is among the lighter systems Borla builds for this car.
