Dash mounts: somewhere for the phone that is not your lap
A phone wedged in a cup holder is useless for navigation and dangerous to reach for. A dash mount puts it where you can see it without taking your eyes far off the road.
Vehicle-specific mounts replace a trim panel or use an existing screw, which is why they do not sag, vibrate loose or fall off in summer heat the way a suction cup does. The same brackets carry radios, gauges and switch panels. What matters is that it does not obstruct an airbag, a vent you need, or your view of the road. All three are easy to get wrong.

Never mount anything in an airbag deployment path. Passenger-side dash mounts are the common mistake, and a device in that path becomes a projectile aimed at whoever is sitting there.
Blocking a defroster vent will fog the windshield in a way that is genuinely unsafe in winter. And a dark dashboard in summer gets hot enough to shut a phone down. A vent mount runs cooler than a dash pad. We stock 18 dash kit and mount parts from 2 brands.
