Snow, mud, sand and salt water all end up on a truck floor, and carpet holds every bit of it. These are shaped to the cab and hold up to extreme temperatures without going brittle or soft. Crew cab models only.
Anything that gets on your boots ends up on the floor, and in a working truck that means salt in winter and sand the rest of the year. Carpet absorbs it; a shaped mat holds it on the surface where it can be tipped out and hosed off. These resist extreme temperatures at both ends, so they neither crack in the cold nor soften in a closed cab in summer. Crew cab only, and factory rear under seat storage is a conflict.
