Bronco shocks: two vehicles, one name, no crossover
A Bronco is either a body-on-frame truck with a beam front axle or the current independently sprung one, and the shocks and struts do not cross between them. That is the first filter on this page and it matters more here than almost anywhere else, because the two are separated by decades rather than by a facelift.
On the older trucks the damper controls long axle travel and length is the specification that decides everything, particularly if the vehicle has been lifted. On the current Bronco the front is independent, the movement quicker and shorter, and a coilover or complete assembly is the usual replacement rather than a bare tube. Off-road trims can leave the factory with their own damping hardware, which several listings exclude by name. Every item here names the years, the position and the ride height it suits, and front shocks and rears are sold separately. The list comes to 40 items.
