Black Max Shock, fitment-checked
Specified for a dual OE mounting arrangement forward of the axle at 5-6 in. of lift: a specific setup rather than a general fitment. It covers the 1966-1979 Bronco Wagon, the F-100 from 1970-1976, and the F-150 and F-250 in 4WD.
The qualifier on this part describes an installation, not just a vehicle: dual OE mounting, positioned forward of the axle, at 5-6 in. of lift. If your Bronco or F-Series is set up that way, the shock measures 24.75 in. extended and 14.54 in. collapsed with the Black Max black boot. Coverage runs the Bronco Wagon from 1966-1979, the F-100 from 1970-1976, the F-150 from 1977-1979 and the F-250 from 1977-1986 in 4WD, among others. Confirm the mounting arrangement before ordering, since the fitment turns on it.
