This gusset reinforces the lower frame tabs on the Polaris RZR XP 1000, the area that bends first when oversized tires and hard landings load the chassis. It is laser cut from 3/16 inch steel, powder coated, and bolts to factory mounting points with no cutting or welding. Once fitted, it also works as a skid plate over the components underneath.
Coverage runs across the 2020-2021 RZR XP 1000 and High Lifter Edition, the 2017 EPS Gold Matte Metallic and Velocity Blue editions, and the XP 4 1000 line: 2014-2019 EPS, 2020-2021 base and High Lifter Edition, 2020-2023 Premium, 2022-2023 Sport, 2022 High Lifter, and the 2023 Ultimate. The thick plate stiffens the frame against flex during aggressive riding and takes the impacts that would otherwise reach the undercarriage.
